Online Voice Actors: Don't Do This.

Topic: Don't promo yourself on another VA's promo post/thread. Over my three years in voice acting I have noticed something that bothers most online voice actors. Some VAs (voice actors) network via Facebook groups and pages. Those groups are there to help you promote yourself and your works, your demos, etc. The case is the same with Twitter,  Voice Acting Alliance and so on. There, you can make new posts talking about new projects that you've voiced for and show it off. That's all great and fine. But when another VA comes along and uses your thread to promote themselves, it can kill your mood and confidence for a thread that you created for your own benefit. This is rude and something that bothers most VAs very much. Instead, make a brand new thread for your own promotions. Don't take over someone else's. It will be the best for parties in the long run.

How I Got Started Voice Acting

Many people have asked how I got started in voice acting. I'm going to tell you how I did it and how you can get started too! Believe it or not, my voice acting journey began online. I started voice acting in late 2011. I saw a fandub audition on a Kingdom Hearts fansite. A friend said I should do it and that I have the voice for voice acting. Well, I had always had a dream of voice acting since I was a kid. So I joined the site and auditioned. I didn't get into the fandub but I was hooked for life!
